Liz Stoeber is currently Miss River City’s Outstanding Teen 2020. She started her platform Hope 4 Kids in 2016 as a result of her volunteer work at her cousins’ elementary school. Over the years she has packaged nearly 50,000 meals for kids across Northeast Florida and that number will continue to grow until no child in Florida will have to worry about where their next meal is coming from. Liz also began a speaking tour in 2016 entitled “Is That Water Clean?” in which she goes to elementary and middle schools throughout the state and gives a presentation about what makes water drinkable and how kids can help people who don’t have access to clean water.
Liz is a graduate of St. Johns Country Day School in Orange Park, Florida. She graduated in the class of 2020 as a member of the National Honor Society and the Cum Laude Society. During her high school career, Liz was a very accomplished pianist and clarinetist in her school’s Symphonic Band and their jazz band, Tuesday’s with Mikey. She is also a one star President’s List Thespian in the Thespian Honor Society and a member of her school’s improv club. She has been twirling baton since the age of two and has won numerous state and regional titles over the years, including the current Florida State Junior Two-Baton title. Liz is currently a freshman at the University of Florida majoring in Criminology and you’ll be able to see her on Florida Field as a UF Gatorette.
